Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see part of one of the largest private collections of live arachnids. You can encounter more than 55 different species of live spiders and scorpions from around the world, including some of the largest spiders on Earth, incredible tarantulas from across the globe, infamous black widows, as well as the largest and most venomous scorpion species.

DETAILS ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
In the well-known shopping centre BTC City Ljubljana, the Big Exhibition of Live Spiders and Scorpions opened on February 13, 2026 and will remain open to visitors until April 30, 2026.
At the exhibition, you can see over 55 different species of arachnids from all corners of the world — from the Americas and Africa to Asia.
There will be no shortage of tarantulas, black widows, and scorpions. On display are geographically and visually diverse species of many tarantulas, including some of the largest spider species in the world and many endangered varieties. Also showcased are extremely interesting dwarf tarantula species and various kinds of black widows.
Spiders are also accompanied by scorpions, including both the largest species and the most venomous ones. The exhibition features five of the most venomous scorpion species in the world, among them the dangerous Indian red scorpion.
Through educational information panels, visitors can learn about the general characteristics of these animals, and each terrarium is additionally equipped with details about the specific traits of each individual species.
