Welcome to the amazing world of arachnids at the big exhibition of live spiders and scorpions, which will delight you this summer in the City Lodge in Zadar!
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see part of one of the largest private collections of live arachnids. Face more than 50 different species of live spiders and scorpions, including the largest species of spiders in the world, amazing tarantulas from around the world, infamous black widows, scolopendra, whip spider and the largest and deadliest species of scorpions.

DETAILS ABOUT EXHIBITION
A large exhibition of live spiders and scorpions, originating from the private collection of Sašo Čotar, opened its doors on 12 June 2023 in the famous City Lodge in the center of Zadar. The exhibition will have its doors open for visitors until 10th of October 2023. The exhibition features more than 50 different species of arachnids from all over the world, from America, Africa, Europe, Asia to Australia. There will be no shortage of tarantulas, black widows and scorpions. Geographically and color-diverse species of many tarantulas are on display, including the largest spider species in the world and many endangered spider species. Also on display are extremely interesting dwarf species of tarantulas and various species of black widows from all over the world.
Spiders are also accompanied by scorpions, so there is no shortage of the largest and the most venomous, as you can see the five most venomous species in the world, including the most dangerous Indian red scorpion. On exhibition you can face also giant scolopendra and tailless whip scorpion.
Visitors can get acquainted with the general characteristics of these animals through educational posters, and each terrarium is also equipped with information on the specific characteristics of each species.
